The purpose of this guide is to help readers in their topre journey serving a place to get quick info or links if they wish to understand more or customize their EC/topre experience.
In this guide, any tools/parts that I used I will try to link them in this doc (product link might be limited to Malaysia), I will link tools that I use which are affordable and do the job just as well, you don’t need expensive tools, just make sure it’s the right tool.
The guides and links in this page is solely based on personal experience on learning more about the topre keyboards space from websites and from the community and the plan is to transform it into an easier to digest info hub as much as possible. Topre switches are a electrostatic capacitive non-contact keyboard switch designed by Japan’s Topre Corporation
The switch consists of a slider in a housing over a rubber dome over a conical coiled spring on a printed circuit board. The switches are discrete components but they are built as sheets
